Certificate PPC -YDE

(New Electrical Installer’s Declaration of Responsibility)

  • What is the procedure for issuing the certificate?
  • What are the necessary documents
  • What is required from your side.

When do you need a PPC certificate?

  • New Installation: after the completion of the construction of each electrical installation and before it is put into operation by the user.
  • Modification of Installation: after the extension or modification of an electrical installation (e.g. new supplies, request for an increase in installation power, change from single-phase to three-phase, etc.) and before it is put into operation by the user.
  • Site Supply: for electrification of a site supply.
  • Re-inspection: after the intervals specified by law for each category of installation. The aim is to verify that the degree of safety provided by the electrical installation has not been reduced due to wear or damage or general deterioration of the electrical material from any cause. If problems are identified, the electrician must make the necessary corrections in order to issue the Installer’s Declaration of Compliance.
